Agent mode and tools
On supported plans, Aura can call connectors and tools your workspace enabled—always under your org permissions and plan gates.

Agent mode (sometimes shown as delegated or tool-using work) is for tasks that need more than a single reply: multi-step work, file outputs, and optional connectors such as docs or messaging integrations.
What you control
- Connectors — Admins enable integrations at the workspace level. You only see tools your org allowed.
- Permissions — Each connector uses the scopes you approved during OAuth. Revoke access from Integrations when you rotate vendors.
- Plan gates — If a capability needs a higher tier, the product routes you to Upgrade or your admin instead of failing silently.
What to expect in the UI
- Visible steps — Aura narrates intent in plain language while work is in progress; you can open the Details rail to watch files or plans when the surface offers it.
- Human oversight — Destructive or billing-sensitive actions still require explicit controls; the model does not bypass billing or sharing dialogs.
If something is missing
- Confirm the connector is installed and authorized under Integrations.
- Ask an admin to adjust workspace tool access if your role should include it.
- Still blocked? Contact support with the task id or timestamp.
Next step
Review Integrations and confirm the connectors you expect are connected before starting delegated work.
